Sun rays
Aurinko paistoi tammikuun alussa muutaman päivän aika ihanasti, piirsi kuvioita seinälle, häikäisi. Nyt taivas on ollut aika harmaa.
Tänään olin pystyttämässä meidän kuvisdiplomitöistä näyttelyä museolle, ja olen kyllä aika ylpeä omistani. Hihi! Stressasin äidinkielen tekstitaidosta, yhteiskuntaopin esseestä ja englannin kuuntelusta, oli mukavaa katsoa pientä teatteriesitystä päivän lopuksi, nauraa hassulle tietokoneen taustakuvalle, mennä tanssimaan joululoman jälkeen. Eikä koulua ole varsinaisesti jäljellä kuin muutama hassu viikko.
The sun shined in quite a lovely way a couple of days at the beginning of January, drew patterns on the walls, dazzled. Now the sky is pretty grey.
Today I was building up the exhibition of the school's art diploma works and I must say I'm pretty proud of mine. Hihi! I stressed out about my social studies essay and English listening comprehensions, it was lovely to watch a little theater performance at the end of the day, laugh at a funny background image, go to dance after the Christmas holiday. And there's just a few funny weeks left at school.

First 2017
Tämä lomaviikko on ollut aika ihana. Olen mökkeillyt ja saunonut, katsonut elokuvia, yrittänyt leikkiä, ettei koulu ala vielä ensi viikolla, tehnyt kuviksen lukiodiplomia, ollut valtavan onnellinen. Uusi vuosi otettiin vastaan eilen ihanalla porukalla. Pelattiin lautapelejä, naurettiin, juteltiin ja syötiin kakkua. Kahdeltatoista leivottiin pipareita, avattiin kuohari ja katsottiin vielä viimeisiä raketteja.
2016 oli aika mieletön. Enimmäkseen hyvällä tavalla. Oli vanhojentanssit, lasketteluretki Rukalle, Tukholman matkat, Ilosaarirock, Rooma, abivuoden alku ja mahtavia ihmisiä. En aio tehdä mitään katsausta viime vuoteen, enkä kertoa tavoitteistani tai suunnitelmistani nyt tälle vuodelle, sillä niitä ei oikeastaan ole. Mutta kerrassaan ihanaa uutta vuotta kaikille! Toivottavasti se olisi vähintäänkin yhtä hyvä kuin edellinen.
This holiday week has been pretty amazing. I have spent time in a summer cottage, watched movies, tried to pretend that school isn't going to start already next week, made my school's art diploma, been so happy. The new year was welcomed yesterday with lovely people. We played board games, laughed, talked, ate cake. At twelve we baked gingerbread cookies, opened a bottle of sparkling wine and watched the last fireworks.
2016 was pretty crazy. Mostly in a good way. There were prom, a snowboarding trip to Ruka, trips to Stockholm, Ilosaarirock, Rome, the beginning of the last year in high school, amazing people. I'm not going to do any kind of review to the last year or tell about my goal or plans for this year because actually I don't have any. But have absolutely a wonderful new year for all of you! Hopefully it would be at least as good as the previous.
2016 oli aika mieletön. Enimmäkseen hyvällä tavalla. Oli vanhojentanssit, lasketteluretki Rukalle, Tukholman matkat, Ilosaarirock, Rooma, abivuoden alku ja mahtavia ihmisiä.
